Double Check your Pre-Nup
I don’t know if I’m supposed to be linking to other sites from my blog but I ran across this rant on You Tube this afternoon and laughed so hard I had tears running rivers down my face. It was also a feature article on MSN this afternoon. Light news day and all with the Pope in DC.
I would never do it now but back when the wounds were fresh, making a video on what he-who-shall-not-be-named and his family did to me would have made for a humorous and emotionally rewarding experience.
There are many references in literature beginning with Dante’s Inferno on the concept of Symbolic Retribution but the idea of getting even and exacting revenge may be more primal than that. Everyday people are out there in the world getting away with horrible infractions and the part of ourselves rooted in impulse control comfort one another that he/she will “get theirs” in the end.
I wish that were true but all evidence to the contrary, the cheats remarry, the thieves build empires and the liars become leaders.
So if this woman wants to go out on You Tube and rail on her former husband over their divorce settlement, more power to her. I only wish I’d thought of it first. Particulary the part about Con-Domes, Viagra and Porn.
