For some of you, this is news and for others a recap of an email that I sent out earlier in the week.
I’ve been hired as a Sex and Relationships columnist for www.examiner.com/dc and my first post went up last night- which I didn’t know about until TS called to congratulate me. I was screaming into the phone, making all sorts of noises designed to deafen the person on the other line and irritate my neighbors at the Courtbridge.
One of the best things about having the exposure (I mean, apart from from the obvious!) is that I’ve struggled with what to write about on this blog. I have some readers who get a kick hearing about my sexual exploits and a few others who are mortified by them. Having the on-line column will allow me to to diversify the content on www.javajennifer.com even as I’m able to write about dating, relationships, love and sex and feature them on the other site. Since I will own my content on both sites, I’ll be able to run in tandem here. Look for a site redesign with my thanks in advance to Lao Lao that will allow people to easily differentiate between the content that appears on in both places and content outside that scope.

Hey, I like to talk about sex! I don’t think about it as much as I once did, but it takes some effort not to think about it so maybe I should just think about it more. I am, as always, very proud of Jen. She is amazing.
